This Privacy Policy explains how Hurdle6 Capital, LLC (“Hurdle6,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit hurdle6.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company or firm, investor type, whether you are an accredited investor, how you heard about us, and your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you, including about Hurdle6 and, where you request it, offering materials;
- To determine whether we may lawfully provide you with information about a private investment fund, including confirming investor eligibility;
- To keep records of our communications in our customer relationship management (CRM) system;
- To understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it;
- To protect the Site from spam, fraud and abuse; and
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations and legal process.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, and HubSpot to record website visits and form submissions in our CRM. These services set cookies and may collect information about your use of the Site over time. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; the Site does not currently respond to them.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as our website host (WP Engine), email provider (Google Workspace), CRM (HubSpot) and analytics provider (Google), each of which may process information only on our behalf;
- With our professional advisers, such as legal counsel, auditors and fund administrator, where reasonably necessary;
- When required by law, regulation, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property or safety or that of others; and
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or other transfer of our business.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain business records and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you communications, by emailing sean@hurdle6.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will respond to requests as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Investors in our fund
This policy covers the Site only. If you are a limited partner in a fund managed by Hurdle6, information you provide in connection with your investment is also governed by the privacy notice provided with that fund’s offering and subscription documents.
No offer
Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Any such offer will be made only by means of a confidential private placement memorandum and related documents, and only to accredited investors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
